In an effort to understand current needs and situation, which allow us to better serve you: first time visitors will complete a form. Additionally, during pantry times all clients have the opportunity to have one on one time, with a Refuge representative, to further determine ways that we can be of assistance. We are here to listen, coach and encourage!
Those utilizing serves at the Refuge must follow and meet several guidelines.

On the 5th Thursday of the month there will not be a pantry. There will be a staff and volunteer training to better equip those serving to assistant clients. For 2023 these trainings will be on November 30. Details will be shared via WhenToHelp and Pantry Announcements, along with reminders on social media.
Weather Closing
When roads or temperatures are hazardous the pantry will be closed.
Check WISH-TV, Channel 8, Fox 59, Social Media and the Refuge website for pantry cancellations.
Volunteers will receive a message from WhenToHelp.
The Refuge currently offers nonperishable and fresh food, along with personal hygiene products, to residents of Johnson County through our pantry.
We also hold special seasonal events such as Thanksgiving meals and Christmas presents/shopping.
Plans are underway to soon add additional services for those in need.
