
The Refuge would love to host a Community Document Shred Day designed to serve our community in two powerful ways: protecting personal information and fighting food insecurity.
This event provides a free service to the community. In lieu of a participation fee, we encourage voluntary donations — either monetary gifts or non-perishable food items — to support The Refuge Food Pantry.
Why This Event Matters
Food insecurity continues to impact individuals and families throughout our community. Funds and food collected during Shred-It Day will help provide groceries, emergency assistance, and ongoing support to neighbors in need. By removing a participation fee, we create greater access for the community while encouraging generosity that directly benefits
local families.
Sponsorship Opportunity
We are seeking business sponsors to help cover the cost of the secure shredding bin and service. This expense typically starts at approximately $850 for several hours, with pricing aligned to the duration of the event. By underwriting this key expense, your business ensures that all donations collected go directly toward supporting the food pantry.The event may be hosted at the Refuge or at the sponsor’s business location, providing flexibility and additional visibility for your organization.
